| Our house is on Capitol Hill at 529 14th St. NE in Washington. We are in a red-brick rowhouse abutting the alley on the east side of the street. If you know how Washington is laid out, you know that we are between E and F Streets, although it is more precise to say we are between Tennessee Avenue and F Street. Parking is reasonably plentiful and free on the street. However, it is zoned as Zone 6, which means that during the day it is limited to 2 hours. This is little enforced except when there are events at RFK stadium, in which case parking is enforced heavily and parking is strictly prohibited. However, there are some parking spaces in the neighborhood that are not zoned at all, such as at the triangle park north of G Street on 14th and the other triangle park south of E Street on 14th. |  |
